SSC CGL 2018 online registration is expected to be start from May 16, 2018. Candidates can apply online and fill the application form at The online registration consists of two parts i.e. Part 1 and Part 2. In SSC CGL registration part 1, candidates have to register themselves by filling basic information whereas in Part 2 they need to pay the application fee and upload the photograph & signature. The application fee for general/ OBC category is INR 100 while there is no application fee for SC, ST or female candidates. Before filling up the SSC CGL application form, candidates are advised to read all the instructions carefully. Candidate must be a graduate and the upper age limit to apply for SSC CGL is 32 years as on August 01, 2018. The written test for Tier 1 is scheduled from June 19 to July 02, 2018.

SSC conducts SSC CGL examination every year for the recruitment of various posts in ministries and departments under government of India. How to Apply for SSC CGL 2018?


A large number of candidates are waiting for SSC CGL notification 2018 as they are aspirant of government jobs. The official link will be provided here once it is available on the official website of SSC. Candidates willing to apply for SSC CGL 2018 must know about the registration process. It comprises in Part 1 and Part 2 registration. Candidate should submit only one application form to avoid any discrepancy. SSC will not entertain for any change in the application form of SSC CGL. They can go through the following points to know the procedure of SSC CGL registration as given below.

Part 1 - Registration

  • Visit the official website of SSC i.e.
  • Go to the SSC CGL tab and click on the application link.
  • Register by providing the name, father’s name, date of birth and given captcha in the box and click on the register button. The registration id will generate on the screen after the successfully registration.

Part 2 -Registration

In second part of registration, it requires personal details, fee payment, uploading of relevant images. The registration process is incomplete without part 2 registration. Candidates need to login for part 2 through registration id and date of birth as a password.

  • Fill up the required details in the application form such as personal details, educational details Aadhar number, category status, preference of posts, postal and permanent address.
  • Make the payment through online or offline mode. The online mode includes credit/ debit card or net-banking whereas offline mode involves bank challan.
  • After the payment, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in JPG format. The size of photograph should be in between 4 KB and 12 KB. For signature, it should be in between 1 KB and 12 KB.
  • Verify all the entered details, click on the final submit button and take a printout of SSC CGL application form for its future reference.

How to pay SSC CGL Application Fee?

Candidates belonging to general or OBC category are required to pay an amount of INR 100 as an application fee of SSC CGL. There is no fee required for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen or female candidates. It can be pay in two modes i.e. online and offline mode.

For offline mode, the application should be pay through challan at any branch of SBI bank. The challan form will be generated online during the registration process.

For online mode, the application fee can be paid through SBI net banking only or any other debit/ credit card.

SSC will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of any non-acceptance in application fee through online mode and the registration of the candidates will be considered as not completed.
